This has been a very emotional day for me at school. One of my student's father has been diagnosed with cancer and has a prognosis of only 3 -6 months. Another of my student's sister passed away unexpectedly last night. I cannot give names, due to confidentiality, but God knows who they are. Please pray for the families, and please pray that God can use me in some way to be able to share His love with them.

Update on Timber He had surgery on Sunday to put a pin in his back leg. All went very well. He will get to come home today. Please continue to pray for him and us as we care for him at home. He is still not using the front leg and the vet is concerned about nerve damage. I know God can fix this too! Thank you for all your prayers.

I requested prayer for friends who are having marriage troubles- please pray for this weekend. He is coming home and my friend is going to do her best to win his heart back to their family. She is hurt and angry and it is going to take supernatural strength to love this sinner who has wounded her so deeply. Her emotions and will are at odds and she is choosing to act according to the Word of God instead of the culture and her feelings. Pray for God's blessings and that her husband's scales would fall off his eyes and he would repent. Thank you!

Please pray for our puppy, Timber. He is a 9 month old, miniature shelty. He was hit by a drunk driver on Tuesday afternoon. He has been at the vet ever since. He has a broken hind leg that will require surgery to put a pin and steel rod in. His shoulder is injured but not broken. The vet is concerned about nerve damage, that he may never be able to use that leg again, which long term may result in amputation. He will have the surgery on Sunday, please pray that all goes well. He is one of God's creatures and I know that God can heal him. As you might guess, this is going to be expensive, the surgery alone is $250. Please pray God's blessings, and that she will work with me on a payment arrangement.

Update on MO Quick note to let you all know that Mo is still struggling with stomach issues and recouping from the blood infection (now gone). It really kicked him in the gut. Now starting radiation he has been kicked in the butt! That just adds to his already tired all the time feeling. He sleeps a lot right now. We are hoping that the body figures out that the activita is trying to help the good bacteria and that it kicks the thrush in the butt. He started taking some medicine to help his stomach today. So lets hope that he can get past getting sick everyday and go forward to feeling much better. He is one tough cookie and keeps plugging away. Again thank you for all the prayers and we will keep you posted on the progress of the radiation. All for now.

Please pray for the marriage of some friends of mine. They have been married 8ish years, have a little girl and the wife just found out the husband has been having an affair. They both claim Christ though he has not born much visible fruit. She has started reading a book a month or so ago about being a Biblical wife and repented of her "typical american liberated Christian wife" sin, told him that she had been tearing their marriage apart unknowingly for seven years and it would take more than a month to fix it. She asked him for a chance to win his heart back. He is gone on business for a few weeks to think things through and make a choice. Thank you!

A prayer for Mo: Father, having faith in the name of Jesus, I lift up my brother in Christ, Mo. He has endured so much, and he has been such an example as he continues to fight against the disease that tries to take away his life - but thank YOU for the LIFE that He has in Jesus Christ that means this disease can NEVER win! I pray for a quick (even immediate) healing of the thrush, and for him to be able to resume back to normalcy. God I also pray for his strength spiritually, that he would know as David knew in Psalm 23 - "Even though I walk through the valley, I will fear no evil because You are with me." I pray that his Bellview family would love on him and met his and Deb's needs, that they would call and visit and encourage and do all the things that remind us of God's love as expressed through others. May You meet their needs, may You show them today in a brand new way how much You love them, and may You bring healing and health to Mo's body again. And I know that I ask this in agreement with the rest of my Bellview family...in Jesus' healing name - Amen.
